Here's how important it is to listen to the Holy Spirit over and above anything or anyone else when making trading decisions. On Friday afternoon, 10/5/07, the Holy Spirit led me to a stock as I was looking for potential trades before the market closed. I normally do this to set up potential trades for the next week. Even though I don't normally place trades on stocks just before it announces earnings, and neither do I place short term trades to be held over the weekend - these are just some of my trading guidelines. However, the Holy Spirit confirmed within me to go ahead and place the trade. Now I had to decide to either go with my normal guidelines or go with the leading of the Holy Spirit. I chose to follow the Holy Spirit. The result was a winning trade for a 295% gain in 6 days. WOW! What a trade. Thank You Holy Spirit. Now, I'm not saying that you should not have trading guidelines - because you do need them. However, you must remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit and follow Him more than anything else - especially in the stock market!!!
